This 3-day weekend retreat marks the beginning of a new year – a time to pause, take stock and gently return home to ourselves. Guided by the timeless wisdom of the Enneagram, we will journey inward to explore the deeper layers of our identity, personality, essence and true nature.
Over the course of the weekend, we will slow down, breathe deeply and reconnect with what feels most authentic, real and alive within us.
Through Enneagram teaching, reflective practices, guided meditations, meaningful conversations and quiet times, we will explore the dynamic relationship between personality and essence. Together, we will expand our capacity to respond to life with greater presence, clarity, compassion and creativity.
The retreat will offer a sacred space for personal reflection, growth and integration. It is an opportunity to realign with your core values, clarify your direction and cultivate a foundation for authentic development for the year ahead.

A peek into the January 2026 retreat
What to Expect
Day One
We gathered, slowly and tenderly, welcoming our Beloved Friends into the Community Circle. We eased them out of the rush of their world and into the spaciousness of our shared bubble – our Island, The Zanzibar. We held them in this loving container as they sighed, softened and settled into fully arriving. We unhurriedly narrated the story of the ancient wisdom of the Enneagram – as a companion for the journey back to Essence. And we connected.
Day Two
We began by honouring what is already here and whole: our inherent goodness, our uniqueness and our wonderfulness. Together, we walked the pathways of the Enneagram as a living map for Integral Development – head, heart and body. We moved slowly, paused often, stilled ourselves, deeply reflected and engaged meaningfully with each other. We generously listened, spoke with intention and curiously enquired about our walk with the Enneagram. We were present to what was quietly, mysteriously and magically integrating itself within us. And we danced…
Day Three
A renewing and inspiring energy flowed through our Island. Our Island came alive with vibrant colours, textures, sounds and aromas – inviting us out of our heads and into embodiment. We imagined the year ahead with playfulness lightness and possibility, sensing what wants to be lived through us. In our Completion Circle, we blessed one another – not with answers, but with courage, creativity and compassion for the road ahead. A path back home to essence. And we cried...
The moment you see clearly, you begin to live differently because what is seen cannot be unseen.
What participants had to say about the experience
Testimony
Nothemba Mxenge and Phetsile Dlamini were my guides during my deepest transformation journey (PCC 2023 – 2024). During that period, when I was no longer sure of anything, they uttered words that stirred my spirit and asked me questions that irked me. These conversations and questions have played back in my soul over and over as I have peeled through the layers that kept me safe and held me back.
Last weekend, I spent 3 deep, reflective, inspiring days in the safety of an Enneagram Circle. It was time to peel yet another layer, to shed more of the mask and move deeper towards my essence, my core, my true being. As I did, I took a few more bold steps out of the shadows and towards the sunlight. I encountered the power of compassion and the courage it requires.
I am full of gratitude and I have never been more ready to start a new year.
Here’s to 2026, with love.

It was as if Nothemba and Phetsile knew I needed to ease into the retreat. I experienced them as spacious, flowing, enveloped in love, as love and generosity. Their introduction was pitched so that it didn’t matter whether you were new to the Enneagram or deeply experienced. They catered to the visual, kinesthetic, and auditory -three versions, one essence. The room held a serene energy. Everyone felt welcome. Everyone received the heart of the Enneagram.
The retreat felt like a soft homecoming, a gentle remembering of who I am beneath the noise. Held by spacious facilitators and a room humming with sincerity, I opened, melted, and met myself again.
The teachings, the pauses, embodied, mindful, present, pens in hand, journaling, all wove into one truth: alignment is a returning, not a destination. I left feeling steadied, grateful, and anchored in the simple grace of being present to what is.
The retreat was a sign. A whisper. A blessing. A reminder that 2026 is my year of flowing with the flow, guided by a compass I now trust to carry me through and beyond.
May all of us find our way back home, again and again and again.
As I rest at home, feeling whole, feeling grateful.
